Management of BAM stages has been digitized

In the Khabarovsk Territory, traffic was launched on two tracks on two stages of the BAM. The length of the Amgun — Sonakh and Pil — Mavrinsky sections is 16 km. The work was carried out by Bamstroymekhanizatsiya, which is part of Natsproektstroy.
The second routes appeared on the Novy Urgal— Komsomolsk-on-Amur line, as well as in the foothills of the Bureinsky Ridge. For this, the machine operators had to recycle more than 282 thousand cubic meters of soil.
Three bridges and eight culverts were built at the intersection with streams and rivers. The structures are designed for a sharp rise in water levels during heavy rainfall, taking into account the hydrological features of the region. Drainage channels were laid to reduce the risk of erosion of the tracks.
Digital automation, developed and manufactured by the National Project Construction company, will control traffic on the sites. According to IA AmurMedia, with the help of the MPC-EL microprocessor centralization, specialists will remotely adjust the arrows and traffic lights, and identify equipment failure conditions. The system has been adapted to frost conditions and protected from surge surges. Built-in cyber protection protects against unauthorized access to the digital system.
The 495 km long Novy Urgal—Komsomolsk-on-Amur line was upgraded as part of the Eastern Landfill development program. The carrying capacity of the BAMA section is expected to grow from 24 million to 49 million tons of cargo per year.
Earlier it was reported that the city authorities allocated 2.2 billion rubles for road repairs in Khabarovsk in 2025. This is 700 million rubles more than in 2024.
