The Russian Armed Forces, in response to the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, strike exclusively at military facilities of Ukraine.

Russian military personnel strike only at military installations and the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine in response to massive attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the regions of the Russian Federation. This was announced on May 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During the week, the Russian military hit the infrastructure facilities of the Ozernoye airfield in the Zhytomyr region, ammunition depots, military equipment, as well as fuel and lubricants in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A temporary deployment point (LDPE) and a depot of rocket and artillery weapons of the mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army in the Sumy region, LDPE in the area of the settlement of Svyatogorsk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and an ammunition depot of the operational tactical group "Kharkov" in the Kharkiv region were also hit.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also attacked a Ukrainian defense industry enterprise, an aircraft repair shop, military airfield infrastructure facilities and air defense radar stations in the Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv regions and a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries in the Kharkiv region.

"An AN/MPQ-65 multifunctional radar station, a combat control vehicle and two launchers of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed by the calculation of the Iskander M tactical missile system in the Ordzhonikidze settlement of the Dnipropetrovsk region," the ministry said.

In addition, Russian fighters attacked the unloading site and warehouse of containers with military equipment and ammunition in the port of Odessa, hit infrastructure facilities and training sites for attack drones at the Kislichevataya airfield in the Zaporizhia region and Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovograd region, as well as ammunition depots of the Volchansk tactical group in the Kharkiv region.

In particular, the strike was carried out against the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which produces missile weapons and attack drones, the center for radio intelligence and the SBU aviation center in the Kiev region, as well as the temporary deployment of a separate special operations center "South" in the Chernomorsk area of the Odessa region and the temporary deployment of the third assault brigade "Azov" (recognized as a terrorist an organization in the Russian Federation and banned) in the Izyum district of the Kharkiv region. The position of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system in the Kiev region was also hit.

"A massive blow was inflicted by high-precision long-range weapons and attack UAVs on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, producing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU. — Ed.) components of missile weapons, radio electronics, explosives, rocket fuel and attack unmanned aerial vehicles (Zhytomyr radio equipment repair plant "Luch", "SPETSOBORONMASH" — Zhytomyr region; Rapid Plant, Chernihiv Radio Equipment Plant, scientific and production company "Techaviakom" — Chernihiv region; Konotop Aircraft Repair Plant Aviakon — Sumy region; Krasilovsky Aggregate Plant — Khmelnitsky region; Pavlograd Chemical Plant — Dnepropetrovsk region; Luch plant of the Prominh Research Center - Ternopil region; radioelectronic industry enterprise NPP Aerotechnika—MTL, KB Luch - Kiev region; Odessa Aviation Plant; enterprise Deviro UAV development and production — Dnipropetrovsk region; Chuguev Aviation Repair Plant - Kharkiv region)," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Among other things, the damage was inflicted on radio and radio intelligence centers in the Kiev region, workshops for the production of UAVs, explosives and ammunition for attack drones in Sumy, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kiev regions, production sites and control points for drones at the Gogolev field airfield in the Kiev region. The Russian Armed Forces also attacked radio intelligence and satellite communications centers in the Kiev region, a combat boat parking lot and an assembly shop for unmanned boats in the Mykolaiv region, infrastructure facilities at the Shkolny airfield in the Odessa region and the Vishnevoye field airfield in the Kharkiv region.

The Ministry of Defense added that the infrastructure facilities of the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnitsky region, ammunition depots of two heavy mechanized brigades in the Kharkiv region and the DPR, the control center of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile division and the temporary deployment point of units of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Odessa region were also eliminated.

According to the ministry, the Russian army will continue to strike exclusively at military installations and military-industrial complex enterprises in response to any terrorist attacks and provocations by the Ukrainian side.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that from May 20 to May 27, the air defense forces destroyed 2,331 Ukrainian attack UAVs over the regions of Russia. It was clarified that 1,465 drones were eliminated outside the special operation zone.
