Cheboksary hosted the opening of the Museum of the Embroidered Map of Russia. The ceremony was attended by Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President and Director of External Relations at the PSB, and Oleg Nikolaev, Head of Chuvashia.

The map with an area of more than 22 square meters consists of 84 fragments created manually by embroiderers from all regions of the country. On the map, you can see the traditional patterns of different peoples living in Russia. At the international exhibition-forum "Russia" at VDNH, the map was declared a symbol of cultural diversity and unity of the country's peoples.

"The PSB has been involved in the creation of the museum since the very beginning of this project, and we are pleased to support this important socially significant initiative. The embroidered map shows the entire scale of our country on the one hand, and on the other, it shows each region with its own cultural characteristics, but at the same time close to each other in spirit," Podguzova said. She expressed confidence that the museum "will become a place of attraction, friendship and unity and will attract more and more guests from all over Russia to the republic."

Nikolayev stressed that "the embroidered map of Russia shows its unity and diversity, confirming that we are a great country with deep historical roots." "We are proud that a large—scale project has been implemented," said the head of the republic.

Podguzova and Nikolaev presented the museum with an embroidered coat of arms of the Russian Federation.
