Actor Kalyuzhny expressed hope for acquiring new skills in the army

Russian actor Gleb Kalyuzhny hopes to gain new skills and friends during his military service. He announced this on May 27 upon arrival at the recruitment center in Moscow. The frame is at the disposal of Izvestia.

"I expect to gain some skills and friends," the actor said, answering a journalist's question about expectations from the service.

Kalyuzhny shared that he keeps in touch with the Russian military, whom he met on the set of the movie "The Kid." According to him, these contacts help him to better understand the upcoming challenges.

Grigory Sukhov, the director and film agent of the actor, expressed confidence that everything would be fine with him. He also called Kalyuzhny a real man.

Kalyuzhny's relatives, in turn, shared that they were worried about his being sent to the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. According to his aunt, he made his decision after filming the film.

This year's campaign starts on April 1, while the rules of conscription may change.

On May 22, Kalyuzhny told Izvestia that after completing his military service in the Armed Forces, he wants to continue working in cinema and act as a producer of projects. The actor also shared that a big tour of Russia and the CIS countries is already planned in 2026.
