Rosgvardeytsy destroyed the AFU communications repeater in the Kharkiv region
Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Russian Guard have destroyed a communications repeater of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on May 27 in the Telegram channel of the department.
According to Rosgvardiya, military personnel of the 116th separate operational brigade, performing tasks in the Kharkov direction, identified the object during aerial reconnaissance. The repeater was placed on a communications tower in one of the settlements of the region and was used to expand the range of the UAV and provide communication between the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"After identifying the enemy communications signal booster, an FPV drone was quickly deployed on it. As a result of an accurate hit, the AFU repeater was destroyed," the report said.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that scouts from the Southern Group of Forces had discovered and destroyed an AFU tank near the village of Serebryanka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It was clarified that the Russian military used FPV drones to destroy the combat vehicle.
