Air defense systems intercepted 99 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia overnight

Air defense systems on duty intercepted 99 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) overnight over the regions of the Russian Federation. This was announced on May 27 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

It is indicated that the aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed between 20:00 on May 26 and 7:00 on May 27.

It is specified that 56 enemy vehicles were destroyed over the Belgorod region, 25 over Voronezh, seven more over Vladimir, five over Kaluga, four over Tula. One drone was shot down over the territories of the Rostov and Lipetsk regions.

Prior to that, on May 26, the ministry reported that in the evening, air defense systems destroyed 23 Ukrainian UAVs over four Russian regions. Six of them were eliminated over the territory of the Tula region, seven over the Orel region, three more drones over the Kursk region and seven over the territory of the Bryansk region.
