Air defense systems shot down at least 20 drones over the Voronezh Region overnight

Air defense systems destroyed at least 20 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of four municipalities of the Voronezh region. This was announced on Tuesday, May 27, by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"Last night, more than 20 UAVs were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces on duty over four municipalities of the region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gusev added that according to preliminary information, no one was injured. In the east of the region, a small fire occurred due to falling fragments, it has already been extinguished.

The day before, on May 26, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had destroyed 23 Ukrainian drones over four Russian regions. Six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Tula region, seven drones over the Orel region, three UAVs over the Kursk region and seven over the territory of the Bryansk region.
