In the Amur region, a bridge over the Obka River partially collapsed due to the passage of heavy machinery. This was announced on Tuesday, May 27, by the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport.

"On May 26, a partial destruction of the roadway of the bridge over the Obka River occurred on the 77th km of the Zeya-Zolotaya Gora highway in the Zeya district," the ministry's Telegram channel said.

They clarified that the heavy equipment did not have a permit to cross the bridge. Traffic on the bridge was carried out in a limited mode — in one lane and only for passenger vehicles, the "Газете.Ru ".

A contractor went to the scene of the incident to carry out restoration work.

On May 18, in the village of Kunki in the Dahadaevsky district of Dagestan, an ancient bridge built back in the 15th century partially collapsed due to heavy rains. The ancient building in the republic is recognized as an object of historical heritage of regional significance.
