Air defense systems destroyed several UAVs over the Voronezh region

Air defense systems have detected and destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Voronezh region. This was announced on Tuesday, May 27, by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"The air defense forces on duty in the suburbs of Voronezh and in one of the southern districts of the region found and destroyed several UAVs," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Previously, there are no consequences as a result of the APU attack.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

The day before, on May 26, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had destroyed 23 Ukrainian drones over four Russian regions. Six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Tula region, seven drones over the Orel region, three UAVs over the Kursk region and seven over the territory of the Bryansk region.
