A detachment of ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet conducted joint maneuvers with participants of the LIMA 2025 international exhibition in Malaysia. This was announced on May 27 by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

"A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet consisting of the corvettes Sharp and Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov completed the program of stay in Malaysia and took part in joint maneuvering with ships participating in the International Naval Exhibition LIMA 2025, which was held on the island of Langkawi," the statement said.

It is specified that the maneuvering was carried out in the wake and front formation. The discrepancy from the joint formation to the established angles was also worked out. During the event, deck helicopters took off into the sky above the ships.

During the visit to Malaysia, senior captain of the first rank Alexey Antsiferov and the commanders of the ships held official meetings with representatives of the command of the Malaysian Navy, participated in the international maritime conference "Malaysia is a maritime power: synergy of quality management and effective measures to achieve success in the development of the naval forces."

"The military sailors visited historical and memorable places, visited museums, and also took part in sports events in volleyball, field hockey, sepak raje, and relay races. The crews of the ships also took part in the international naval culinary festival with a prepared concert performance and dishes of national cuisine," the ministry said.
