The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Minister Vitaly Shulika, arrived in the capital of the DPRK, Pyongyang. This was reported on Tuesday, May 27, by the Central Telegraphic Agency of Korea (KCNA).
"A delegation of the Russian Interior Ministry headed by Vitaly Shulika has arrived in Pyongyang," KCNA said in a statement.
They added that the delegation was met at Pyongyang International Airport by Minister of Social Welfare Lee Song Chol and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Alexander Matsegora.
At the end of the Victory Day Parade on Red Square on May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed his best wishes and words of gratitude to all North Korean soldiers. He separately approached the military of the Korean army at the end of the solemn part and talked with the military personnel. They thanked him for appreciating their service.
