In the Caucasus, where the holiday season has almost begun, today they are discussing ways to make it even more successful. Representatives of more than two dozen regions of Russia and large companies from partner countries share their ideas and experiences. The Caucasian Investment Forum opened in the Ministry of Water, and a platform with Russian wines was launched for the first time. Anastasia Kharchenko, a correspondent for Izvestia, told about this from the spot on May 26.

The key decisions here are made literally against the backdrop of mountain landscapes. And large-scale construction projects, major deals and business handshakes consolidate the success of negotiations.

The 21st exposition of regions, countries and companies is available at the forum. These are not just exhibition stands, but platforms for the presentation of the most important investment projects. The regions are very different, and each is represented at a high level, demonstrating the enormous potential of the Caucasus.

Interest in the region is increasing: foreign delegations have come to Mineralnye Vody to promote their ideas and develop joint projects.

"It is very interesting for the Iranian business to be in the Caucasus, and we are interested in joint projects to invest in this region. At the moment, the leadership of Russia and Iran are making great attempts to bring our business closer," said Mehdi Azadvari, President of the Eurasian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iran.

However, the Caucasian Investment Forum covers not only the Caucasus, but the entire region is in focus. For example, Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, summed up the results of cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia. According to him, the university's main domestic product grew by 32.5%.

"Already at the end of last year, since the beginning of the implementation of this program, we have also seen an increase in wages, support in this alignment with the conditions of payments for the North Caucasus Federal District. This is the volume of investments, which increased by 28.5%," Novak said.

In addition to signing agreements, there was a place for equally interesting moments at the forum. This year, a special highlight was the site with Russian wines.

"Today we are surprising with our line of original young wines and our flagship line, which are well—known to everyone — these are strong and dessert wines," said Polina Alyokhina, Head of Marketing at PJSC Massandra.

The best examples of wine-making art are collected here. The thematic platform dedicated to Russian winemaking is operating for the first time at the Caucasian Investment Forum, but it has already attracted the attention of the guests. As the brand ambassador Polina Nikanorova pointed out, thanks to this platform, Russian winemaking can show its potential.

So, the main consumer critic has already evaluated the product. At least this is evidenced by the queues for tasting.

"I have already approached the girls for the second time, they told me the story of the wine, it is very tasty, it reveals interesting notes. I know that this wine is presented in Rostov-on-Don, because I am from there myself. I will be happy to buy now," said entrepreneur Svetlana Koroleva.

Alexander Cherny, Head of the INKERMAN Brand Development Department, said that his products are participating in the Caucasian Investment Forum for the first time. But you can immediately note the genuine interest in the brand and its history.

At the site, the Crimean wineries Massandra, INKERMAN and Novy Svet presented their achievements and are ready to share their experience with their Caucasian colleagues.

And one of the main areas of investment in the Caucasus is tourism. Large-scale construction projects are already underway here.

"We have five special economic zones. The three flagship projects are probably Elbrus, Mamison, and the Caspian Coastal Cluster," said Kavkaz CEO.Russian Federation" Andrey Yumshanov, adding that tourism is an advantage of the region.

By 2036, world-class resorts will appear here, Novak said. There are all the prerequisites for this: investments in the Caucasus have increased by 75% in the last three years alone. Entrepreneurs are confident that success can be achieved here.

ROSSETI Group also held a Supplier's Day conference on May 26 as part of the Caucasian Investment Forum. The main topic was the strengthening of technological sovereignty in the field of energy. The conference, which brought together more than 200 companies, was attended by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Evgeny Grabchak, Deputy General Director of ROSSETI for Investment and Capital Construction Alexey Molsky, experts from Opora Russia, the largest electronic platforms.
