Average salaries in Russia will grow to 100 thousand by the end of 2025th

By the end of 2025, the average salary in Russia will amount to about 100 thousand rubles, according to analysts interviewed by Izvestiya. We are talking about accrued income before taxes: a person will receive 87 thousand rubles.

Which professions are the most lacking and are companies ready to raise their salaries?

At the beginning of 2025, the average salary was almost 89 thousand, that is, as experts expect, this year the figure will increase by 12%. For comparison: last year it grew by 18%.

Already now we can identify six industries, the average salary in which exceeds Br100 thousand - we are talking about mining, IT and communications, scientific and technical activities, finance and insurance, construction, transportation and storage, said in "Sber".

However, the manufacturing industry remains the driver - and this trend will continue until the end of the year, said Viktor Lyashok, senior researcher at the Center INSAP IPEI of the Presidential Academy. That is, it is here that workers' salaries will increase the fastest.

At the same time, incomes will traditionally increase most slowly in the public sector - social workers, teachers, as well as in agriculture. The lag will remain, unless the government decides to indexation in this sector significantly above inflation at the end of the year, says Viktor Lyashok.

Under the conditions of staff shortage, organizations have to attract and retain specialists, as well as pay overtime for the increased production volume, said Andrei Piskunov, Managing Director of the NKR Rating Agency. However, in 2025 the resources for increasing salaries are shrinking.
