Five people were killed in an unknown attack on a village in Syria.

As a result of an armed attack on the village of Mashkita in Syria, at least five people were killed and three more residents were injured. This was announced on May 26 by the Sham TV channel in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the settlement is located in a rural area north of the city of Latakia. At the same time, the village itself is inhabited mainly by Alawites.

Earlier, on May 17, more than 20 farmers and fishermen were killed in a militant attack on the village of Malam Karanti in Borno State in northeastern Nigeria.
