Private Usmanov destroyed the FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and delivered ammunition to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

Private Aidar Usmanov was carrying out the task of transporting ammunition and logistical equipment to a point near the line of contact when his car was attacked by an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, May 27, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

Usmanov noticed the enemy drone in time and made a swift maneuver, avoiding the impact. Having successfully avoided a collision with the drone, the private stopped the car and left the cabin, grabbing his standard-issue weapon. Once outside, Usmanov aimed at the drone and destroyed it with several accurate shots. The drone exploded in the air, and the private managed to deliver the cargo to the destination on time.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the bold and decisive actions of the guard of Private Denis Kokovin, who, as part of an artillery gun crew, carried out a combat mission to destroy equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and conduct counter-battery warfare. During the clash, the enemy suffered a defeat, but requested reinforcements, not wanting to retreat from fortified positions.

Russian intelligence established the coordinates of the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after which it transmitted information about their location to Kokovin. The Guard private immediately aimed an artillery piece at the coordinates he received and fired a shot. The enemy lost some equipment and manpower, which forced him to immediately retreat.

After capturing the village, Russian units repulsed four enemy counterattacks.

Earlier on May 27, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of Senior Lieutenant Artyom Malygin. The group under his command came under artillery fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Malygin quickly got his bearings in the current situation, identified the hiding places and gave instructions to his subordinates to disperse. He also provided first aid to the wounded soldier and competently organized the defense.
