French lawyer Danglean called Macron's slap a derisive action against the country.
French lawyer Francois Danglean called slapping French President Emmanuel Macron an act that ridicules the country. He informed Izvestia about this on May 26.
"Recently, footage appeared in the media showing Macron being beaten by his charming wife, who gave him a punch or a slap in the face, we didn't quite understand. And we are told stories that this is all perfectly normal. <...> This is an absolutely outrageous situation. And we must find a way to remove him from power, because he is only destroying our country," the lawyer said.
Danglean also believes that the French president is determined to confront Russia, which does not coincide with the position of his country's citizens.
"He wants to start a war with Russia, but it seems incredible. No one in France wants a conflict with Russia, and the president's actions are puzzling," the lawyer said.
In addition, he noted the deterioration of the situation in the economic and energy sectors of France.
Earlier, on May 26, Macron received a slap in the face from his wife during a visit to Vietnam. At first, the Elysee Palace denied the authenticity of the footage, but later the French president's press service confirmed the authenticity of the video.
