A cyclist, who was 11 years old, died in a collision with a car in the Sloboda-Turinsky district of the Sverdlovsk region. This was reported on May 26 in the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"The driver of the Ford Focus car <...> drove into the oncoming lane, where he hit a cyclist," the department's Telegram channel says.

The boy died from his injuries before the ambulance arrived. The driver of the car was a 61-year-old resident of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District). The man's driving experience is four years, and he was sober at the time of the accident. Law enforcement officers are conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances that led to the accident.

On May 24, a driver in a carsharing car in the center of Moscow killed a child who was traveling on a scooter. The child was trying to cross the roadway at a forbidding traffic light. He died as a result of the incident.
