In Britain, a car drove into a crowd of people celebrating Liverpool's victory in the Premier League. This was reported by The Mirror newspaper on May 26.

"Eyewitnesses claim that the driver of the vehicle "intentionally" hit a crowd of football fans this evening," the article clarifies.

According to unconfirmed reports, several people were injured after a car drove into a crowd on Water Street in Liverpool. The police detained the man at the scene, the police spokesman added.

"Today, on Monday, May 26, we were contacted at about 18:00 (20:00 Moscow time. — Ed.) after reports of a car colliding with several pedestrians on Water Street. The car stopped at the scene, and the man was arrested. Emergency services are currently on site. We will release new updates as they become available," the police said.

Witnesses say that the car slowed down several times and accelerated again before coming to a complete stop in the middle of the street. It is specified that the fans tried to detain the driver before the police arrived.

A local restaurant has been turned into a makeshift emergency room. It is not yet known how many people were injured and how serious their injuries are. The Northwest Ambulance Service has confirmed that it is providing medical assistance to the injured.

"We are assessing the situation and working with other emergency services. Our priority is to ensure that people receive the necessary medical care as soon as possible. Updates will be published as new information becomes available," the doctors concluded.

On April 27, a car crashed into a crowd at a street festival in Vancouver, Canada, killing several people. The incident occurred on the evening of April 26 during the celebration of the Philippine Lapu-Lapu Day. The driver of the car was detained. The Canadian Global News channel, citing sources, reported that at least eight people were killed in the incident, including a child, and six others were injured.
