An elderly SUV driver was killed in an accident on the Chita–Zabaikalsk highway.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, as a result of an SUV overturning, one person was killed and one injured. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Monday afternoon, May 26, on the 415th km of the federal highway A-350 Chita - Zabaikalsk – border with China. It was previously established that the 68-year-old Toyota Land Cruiser driver lost control. The car flew off the roadway and overturned.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the foreign car received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. His passenger was taken to the hospital, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

On April 30, a VAZ-2114 and a Toyota Camry collided on the 232nd km of the A-350 highway. As a result, two people were killed, and three more, including a teenager, were taken to the hospital with injuries.
