The number of sanatoriums in the Tula region increased by 14 %

About 43 thousand people rested in the health resorts of the Tula region in 2024. This is 14% more than a year earlier. Such data is provided on the portal "Sanatoriums of Russia".

The region ranked seventh in the Central Federal District in terms of popularity of sanatoriums. The number of placements at the same time amounted to 2.9 thousand, TSN24 writes.

Earlier, Izvestia reported that Russian regions will receive a record 27 billion rubles for the development of tourism infrastructure. The money will be distributed through a competition and for priority projects.
