Putin will work with Russian entrepreneurs on a program for the return of Western business

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, May 26, said at a meeting with representatives of the business community that he would work with Russian entrepreneurs on a program for the possible return of Western business to Russia.

The Head of State noted that the return of foreign companies to Russia is possible only under favorable conditions for the country.

"I have already set the government such a task, to work out calmly, without any rudeness, but to work out a program for the possible return of those who want to return. But taking into account, solely taking into account the protection of the interests of our business," the Russian leader stressed.

He added that the program will be thought out in detail.

On March 18, Putin ordered the development of a program for the return of Western businesses to Russia. In addition, during a speech at the annual congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), he noted that Russia "did not expel anyone." According to the Russian leader, when returning to Russia, Western businesses should offer competitive conditions.
