- Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina spoke about the cultural program for Children's Day

In May, the first events will start, which were prepared by the cultural venues of the capital in honor of the International Children's Day, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Concerts, master classes, quests, performances and musical performances are organized for young residents and guests of Moscow - over 300 events in total. For example, a large scientific festival will be held in Zaryadye Park, and new film tours will appear at Gorky Film Studio," Sergunina noted.
One of the key events will be the Nebo Children's Art Festival, which will be held on May 31 and June 1 in Muzeon Park. The festival will bring together creative teams from the capital, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Voronezh, Krasnoyarsk, Tobolsk and Kaliningrad. Theater actors, circus performers, musicians and dancers will perform in front of the audience.
On the same days, the Moscow Animation and Children's Film Festival will be held at the Moskino Film Park. The program includes presentations of student animated works, screenings of fairy—tale performances and a quest dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the work "Barmaley" by Korney Chukovsky. In addition, workshops will be organized there, where participants will be able to voice animated films, draw their favorite character or create his 3D figurine. Staged filming of the film "Aibolit-66" will take place in the "Cowboy Town" zone: those who wish will be offered to change into costumes of the characters in the picture and play in one of the scenes.
At the Nauchfest in Zaryadye Park, it will be possible to communicate with researchers, watch educational shows, take part in intellectual games and quests.
A number of events were prepared by the venues of the Moscow Exhibition Halls association. So, on May 30, the Khodynka Gallery will host a lecture on "How to talk to children about art," and on May 31, the Belyaevo Gallery will present a collection of toys from leading centers of folk art crafts: clay Dymkovskaya, Abashevskaya, Filimonovskaya and others.
In the libraries, visitors will be able to make bookmarks and collages, listen to music and participate in competitions for dexterity and ingenuity.
