The Fokinsky district court sentenced a Lipetsk resident who killed a Bryansk policeman 23 years ago to 18 years in prison. This was reported on May 26 on the official website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Bryansk region.
"The Fokinsky District Court of Bryansk has passed a verdict in a criminal case against a resident of Lipetsk. He was found guilty under paragraph "g" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder"), part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal carrying of weapons and ammunition"), part 3 of Article 30, paragraphs "a", "i" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Attempted murder murder")," the publication says.
According to the prosecutor's office, in July 2001, a resident of Bryansk committed the murder of the deputy head of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Bezhitsky district due to personal hostility. To implement his plans, he also attracted a familiar resident of Lipetsk.
In addition, on May 17, 2015, he fired two shots from a traumatic weapon at a man born in 1991. However, despite this, he was not killed. Then the wounded man disappeared.
The wife of the organizer of the policeman's murder insisted on a trial. As a result, the accused was sentenced to 18 years in prison to serve his sentence in a high-security penal colony. It is specified that the criminal case against a resident of Bryansk was terminated by the court because of his death.
On the same day, it was reported that a Turkish citizen who is accused of murdering his wife in Kazan was arrested by a court until July 24, 2025. The foreigner did not admit his guilt in committing the crime.
