Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, May 26, during a meeting with representatives of the business community of the state called short-sighted foreign countries and companies that "squeeze out" Russian specialists.

"They are not only getting rid of our specialists, they started getting rid of our companies even earlier, of the services of our companies that worked in the field of cybersecurity abroad, worked successfully and were competitive," he said.

The Russian leader described the actions of foreign states and companies as unfair competition in the market.

In addition, the president drew attention to the fact that Russia did not expel foreign companies from the trading platform, but, on the contrary, tried to create the most comfortable conditions for their work.

"We need to reciprocate them and mirror them," the head of state noted.

On March 18, President Putin ordered the development of rules for the return of Western companies to Russia. He recalled that the country "did not expel anyone." According to the Russian leader, Western companies need to be offered competitive conditions to return to Russia.

Kirill Logvinov, director of the Department of International Organizations at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said on March 31 that foreign companies expect Russia to quickly "forget and forgive everything" against the background of the return of Western brands to the territory of the Russian Federation.
