The Russian House in Tanzania declared Russia's honesty in cooperation with Africa

The Russian house in African countries has to work in conditions of great competition with Western countries, but the Russian Federation has the advantage of honesty. Alexander Evstigneev, head of the representative office of the Russian House in Tanzania, told Izvestia on May 26.

"When a dishonest game begins, ordered articles, provocations, any kind of denigration of the Russian Federation, we systematically, honestly <...> we explain what is happening in Ukraine, what is happening in our relations with the West. We are honest, and this is our strength," Evstigneev said.

He stressed that the main task of the community is to maintain interest in Russian culture.

In addition, according to the head of the representative office, through the Russian House, residents of Tanzania can travel to Russia for scientific events, as well as cooperate with higher educational institutions. For example, Lucia, a student of preparatory courses at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tanzania, told about her plans to go to study in Russia in order to fulfill her childhood dream of studying airplanes.

"After completing my studies, I want to return to Africa, return to my country and help develop the aviation system and aircraft," she told Izvestia.

Earlier, on March 22, it was reported that some Russian airlines already have the necessary permits to operate flights to Tanzania. In addition, it was clarified that the resumption of direct flights depends on the demand of Russian tourists.
