Air defense systems shot down another Ukrainian drone flying to Moscow. This was announced on May 26 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"Another UAV flying to Moscow was shot down," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

Earlier that day, Sobyanin announced the destruction of four APU drones on approach to Moscow. Later it became known about the elimination of another UAV near the capital.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported the destruction of 96 Ukrainian UAVs over 12 Russian regions overnight. It was clarified that the largest number of UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk region, air defense systems shot down 31 drones in the region.
