The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the destruction of the L-119 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region

On May 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the destruction of the L-119 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by soldiers of the First Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces in the Kharkiv region.

It is specified that the object was identified using the Zala reconnaissance drone. The howitzer was disguised in a private house in one of the settlements in the Kharkiv region.

"After determining and confirming the exact coordinates of the enemy's location, it was decided to destroy the 105 mm L-119 howitzer manufactured in Great Britain, which is in service with the enemy," the ministry said in a statement.

They added that the Russian army destroyed the facility with an FPV drone and the calculation of the Lancet barrage ammunition.

On the same day, soldiers of the North group of forces destroyed an ATV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of a special military operation in the Sumy region. It is specified that the equipment transported the property of the assault group of the Ukrainian army.
