Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down 96 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia last night, RT reports.

According to the agency, 31 drones were shot down over Bryansk, 16 over Belgorod, 11 over Kursk, and nine over Tula regions. In addition, eight drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down over the Orel region, six over the Moscow region, NSN said. The day before, the Ministry of Defense reported that in seven hours, from 13:00 to 20:00 Moscow time, the air defense forces destroyed 51 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia. Among them, 23 drones were shot down over the Kursk region, the ministry said.
