Turkish Airlines temporarily cancelled flights amid restrictions at Moscow airports

Turkish Airlines is temporarily canceling flights to Moscow amid restrictions imposed at the capital's airports on the night of May 26. This was reported by the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
"On the night of May 26, restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft were again introduced at airports in central Russia. This led to changes in the schedule of Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports. Up to 60% of flights arrive off schedule or cancelled. In particular, the regularity of Turkish Airlines flights has suffered," the Moscow City News Agency quotes the message.
Tour operators understand the situation and recommend waiting for information about the new departure time.
According to Anna Podgornaya, CEO of PEGAS Touristik, for technical reasons, in some cases Turkish Airlines indicates flight cancellation instead of delay status on the scoreboard. At the same time, as soon as it becomes possible to take off, the time and number of the flight change on the scoreboard, and it is carried out.
"We receive all the information and make changes to reservations as they become available. Agents must provide new information to travelers. Tourists are advised to wait for information," she concluded.
Earlier in the day, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft (AF) were lifted at Kaluga, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports, writes RIAMO.
The introduction of time restrictions at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports became known on the same day. Also in the morning, restrictions were imposed on the operation of the airport in Kaluga, RT reports.
