Air defense forces destroyed seven drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over two regions of Russia

Air defense systems destroyed seven drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Tula and Kursk regions. This was announced on May 26 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 12:30 to 14:00 Moscow time, seven Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the Ministry of Defense, four drones were destroyed over the territory of the Kursk region and three UAVs over Tula.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

On the same day, the air defense forces eliminated 20 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over four Russian regions. Nine drones were eliminated over the Orel region, five drones were neutralized over the territory of the Kursk region, and three more UAVs were shot down in the skies over the Tula and Yaroslavl regions.
