Kravtsov announced the appearance of unified textbooks in all subjects within three years.

In the next three years, unified state textbooks in all subjects will appear in Russia. This was announced on May 26 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov at a briefing in the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Unified state textbooks in all subjects will be prepared within three years," he said.

Kravtsov recalled that work is currently continuing on state textbooks on the Russian language and literature.

"Academic subjects are very important for shaping the worldview of schoolchildren. We have returned the content, study and reading of our native mostly writers to literature lessons. And today we are creating a school theater in every school — we also synchronize productions with the school literature curriculum," the minister added.

According to the Minister, the Ministry of Education has agreed with the Russian Academy of Sciences to develop unified textbooks on physics, chemistry and biology. He explained that a single team of specialists will work on them, which synchronizes the content with courses in mathematics and other natural science disciplines, since a comprehensive understanding of these subjects is of great importance for schoolchildren.

In addition, according to Kravtsov, it was decided to develop in-depth versions of textbooks jointly with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).

On April 19, Kravtsov announced that from September 1, 2025, a common schedule for all Russian schools will be introduced. It will allow you to control the degree of workload for both teachers and students, as well as facilitate the regulation of daily classes, independent and control work. In addition, the minister noted that starting from the next academic year, restrictions will be imposed on All-Russian test papers, they should not exceed 10% of the total number of classes.
