Non-oil and gas revenues in Russia are increasing by 829 billion rubles and are expected to total 30.2 trillion rubles. This was announced on May 26 by Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Russia Boris Kovalchuk during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes.
"Non—oil and gas revenues are increasing by 829 billion rubles and are planned to total 30.2 trillion rubles," Kovalchuk said.
According to him, the total amount of federal budget revenues for 2025 will decrease by 1.8 trillion rubles, and the deficit will amount to 3.8 trillion rubles.
"In terms of expenses, we have provided for an increase of 829 billion, to 42.3 trillion (rubles. — Ed.), and the increase in federal budget expenditures is primarily associated with an increase in allocations for the implementation of certain measures," Kovalchuk said.
The Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Russia added that the budget funds will be used to implement preferential mortgage programs in the amount of 279 billion rubles, the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the state" and the state program "Information Society" in the amount of 61 billion rubles.
On December 1, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on the federal budget of Russia for 2025 and the planning period 2026-2027. Budget revenues in 2025 will amount to 40.296 trillion rubles, expenditures — 41.469 trillion. In the future, revenue is also expected to grow to 41.841 trillion rubles in 2026 and 43.154 trillion in 2027.
