The Russian draft of the memorandum on the peace agreement has not yet been handed over to Ukraine, and work on it continues. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on May 26.

"The work [on the memorandum] continues, it is a serious project, a draft of a serious document. It requires careful reconciliation and preparation," he said.

In addition, the presidential press secretary noted that the parties will continue the prisoner exchange in accordance with the agreements reached in Istanbul.

On May 22, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that the second round of talks between Moscow and Kiev would take place, which can already be considered a "positive" signal. At the same time, the minister noted that there are no specifics about new meetings yet, and the idea of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in the Vatican is "unrealistic."
