- More than 1,000 schoolchildren from 40 regions of Russia took part in the physics regatta.

More than 1,000 eighth graders from 40 Russian regions took part in the physics regatta, organized by T-Bank in cooperation with the Central University.
In the final, almost 300 students met at the T-Bank headquarters in Moscow. The final stage consisted of four rounds of three tasks each. The participants solved problems from such branches of physics as mechanics, heat and electricity, as well as demonstration tasks - tasks in video format that require students to describe the demonstrated physical phenomena in high quality. The basis of this block of the regatta was a multimedia physics textbook developed by Professor, Doctor of Physico-mathematical Sciences Alexander Fishman and Associate Professor, Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences Andrey Skvortsov.
The students' decisions were evaluated by members of the jury of the All-Russian Physics Olympiads, candidates and doctors of physico-mathematical sciences, as well as teachers of the Central University and employees of T-Bank.
Three teams of schoolchildren became the winners of the first degree: two from Moscow and one from Belgorod. Seven more eighth-grade teams from Korolev, Saratov, Dolgoprudny, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Moscow became the winners of the competition.
"It's nice to watch the participants of this regatta — smart, talented guys with sparkling eyes. We are waiting for such people at the Central University to give them the opportunity to continue to grow and develop," said Evgeny Ivashkevich, Rector of the Central University.
Varvara Smirnova, the head of T-Education, in turn, emphasized that physics creates sincere curiosity about the world, creativity, and the search for non-standard solutions in children. "We understand that it is pointless to teach children specific technologies, as they become obsolete very quickly. At the same time, it is especially important to train the flexibility of thinking, the habit of facing tasks and mastering complex concepts," she added.
