- The international crew of FICHE won the first stage of the Tenzor Elite Cup 2025 — the Igor Chentsov regatta

The international sailing tournament Tenzor Elite Cup 2025 has launched the summer season, testing a new racing format and selection rules based on the TSC rating.
The first stage, the Igor Chentsov Regatta— was included in the sports program of SPIEF 2025, bringing together 15 of the strongest teams at the start at the Tenzor Sailing Club in Pestovo, crewed by about 70 renowned and titled yachtsmen of the country. Athletes competed on MX700 yachts in long fleet races. Internationality was added by participants from Belarus and Germany.
One of them, Dustin Baldewein, won as part of the FICHE team, where for the second season a well—coordinated trio has been performing together - the steering team, Omsk Alexey Bunzya, tactician Pavel Sozykin from Chelyabinsk and Bakovy, Muscovite Sergey Maruk.
Dustin was born and raised in Germany and has been actively competing in regattas in Russia for the last eight or nine years. He considers the lake conditions very interesting. I played for the FISHE team for the first time!
"The wind often shifts here, making racing unpredictable and interesting. I am very pleased with the performance and the experience gained in the new team. We quickly established communication, we were able to maneuver, and, most importantly, there were no fines or red flags. The team is happy!" the German yachtsman shared.
The silver medal was won by yachtsmen from Georgy Sokolovsky's Aladdin team, representing Moscow and Vladivostok.
There was a fierce battle for the third prize between the teams Pirogovo, Bars Sailing Team, Vordevind and S-Kotiki. Everything was decided in the last two or three races, when Pirogovo and S-Kotiki got a false start, and Alexey Mashkin's Ford improved with each arrival and were able to beat their rivals, taking the bronze medals.
The women's competition was won by Anna Dankvert, who represented the Skolkovo Sailing Club in this competition.
Everyone got great emotions, and those who ended up in the top ten received the highest rating points — the Pirogovo team, Bars Sailing Team, Skolkovo Sailing Team 3, S-Kotiki, Hubex, PTICHKI Sailing Team and Two Axes.
Sergey Dzhienbaev, President of the All-Russian Sailing Federation, congratulated the athletes and presented the winners with a commemorative Cup from the Roscongress Foundation and the family of Igor Viktorovich Chentsov.
The fight in the series will continue in the following stages — in July and September in Pestovo, and the winners of the entire series will be determined based on the results of the grand final in Sochi in early November.
