The Bitsevsky maniac Alexander Pichushkin filed a lawsuit against the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) of Russia because of the refusal to transfer from the correctional colony of the special regime "Polar Star" to an institution in the territory of Mordovia. The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow informed about this on May 26.

"Pichushkin A.Yu. filed a lawsuit against the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, according to this statement of claim, the applicant is listed as a recoverer, and the defendant is a debtor," TASS quoted him as saying.

The details of the claims were not specified, but the category of the case stated "challenging decisions, actions (inaction) of state authorities, military authorities." The date of the conversation on the claim was set for 10:10 Moscow time on May 29.

Earlier, on April 17, 2024, Pichushkin's mother Natalia Guskova reported on her son's painful condition in prison. She also noted that he is on the verge of death.

Pichushkin was born on April 9, 1974. He is known as the "Bitsevsky maniac", the "killer with a chessboard". Pichushkin planned to commit 64 murders: one for each square of the chessboard. Law enforcement agencies managed to prove 62 episodes. In October 2007, the court sentenced the Bitsevsky maniac to life imprisonment.
