The dealer announced the start date of sales of the Lada Granta cross-liftback

A new modification of the Lada Granta liftback called Active Cross, which features increased ground clearance and a protective body kit, is expected from dealers until mid-summer. This was stated by Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, according to the Autostat agency on May 26.

According to him, the Granta Active Cross will be presented in the price range of the Granta Cross station wagon. The price of the latter varies from 1.18 million to 1.35 million rubles.

Shaprinsky believes that the average age of the Granta Active Cross target audience is 30-40 years old. Such a modification can occupy about 20% of the Granta family's sales structure, it will compete with the Cross-version and other modifications in the liftback body. According to his forecasts, with the advent of Active Cross, sales of the Granta family may increase by 7-10%.

AvtoVAZ announced the Lada Granta Active Cross on May 14. The ground clearance of the liftback was increased from 180 to 198 mm. Other features of the novelty at AvtoVAZ were the optimized geometry of the body with shortened overhangs and a smooth bottom without protruding elements, which should provide characteristics comparable to compact crossovers.
