The first deputy head of the Moscow Metro pleaded guilty to accepting a bribe

Dmitry Doshchatov, First Deputy head of the Moscow Metro and head of the Directorate of Infrastructure, confessed to receiving a bribe in the form of a Toyota RAV-4 car for his actions in favor of Technopromimport. This became known on May 26 from the case file.

"Doshchatov is cooperating with the investigation, confessing, and repenting of his actions," the documents say.

It is reported that the Basmanny District Court of Moscow has kept Doschatov in jail until June 23. The investigation period has been extended until July 22.

The defendant received a Toyota RAV-4 vehicle for approving the quality of half-sleepers under a supply agreement for the construction of new Moscow Metro lines for a total amount of more than 3 billion rubles, adds "Газета.Ru ".
