The Air Defense forces eliminated seven drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over two regions of the Russian Federation in half an hour.

Air defense systems destroyed seven drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Tula and Kaluga regions. This was reported on May 26 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the ministry, the enemy's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the regions from 07:20 to 07:50 Moscow time.

It is specified that five drones were eliminated in the sky over the Tula region, and two drones over the Kaluga region. All the downed UAVs were aircraft-type.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

This morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that overnight the air defense forces eliminated 96 Ukrainian UAVs over 12 Russian regions. The largest number of drones were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk region, air defense systems shot down 31 drones in the region.
