Rostec has declared the invulnerability of the Iskander complex to the Ukrainian air defense forces

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) do not have the means to intercept the Iskander tactical missile system. This was announced on May 26 by the press service of the Rostec State Corporation.

"The enemy is not able to repel the attacks of the Iskander complex. A ballistic missile is moving along a complex and unpredictable trajectory with tremendous speed. The overload during its maneuvers significantly exceeds the overloads that the vast majority of NATO anti—aircraft missiles can withstand," the Rostec Telegram channel clarified.

The state corporation stressed that in fact, the enemy can only observe the flight of these missiles, "realizing the inevitability of hitting their targets."

The corporation noted that the accuracy of the missiles of the complex significantly exceeds the performance of foreign analogues. There may be cases of hitting a target with minimal deviation from the aiming point. At the same time, the shock wave and fragments of the warhead are capable of hitting targets at a considerable distance from the point of impact.

Rostec added that when the air defense system is covered by the shock wave of the Iskander missile, its recovery becomes impossible.

On May 21, it was reported that Krasnopol-M2 guided artillery ammunition had eliminated heavily defended targets such as Leopard and Abrams tanks many times in the area of a special military operation.
