The Dome of Donbass system intercepted 413 Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of the DPR

The Domol Donbas air defense and Electronic warfare system intercepted 413 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 5 by the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

According to the ministry, on May 23, the Dome of Donbass simultaneously intercepted four Raybird-3 and Warthog attack UAVs, which were aimed at the Zuyevskaya thermal power plant, which supplies several districts of the republic.

The drones were equipped with a special system that made it impossible to remove explosive ordnance from them, so they were destroyed on the spot.

On the same day, the system prevented 31 attempts by Ukrainian drones to enter the territory of Donetsk and Makeyevka. In addition, 86 reconnaissance and attack UAVs were hit in the sky over Gorlovka.

Each of the destroyed drones was neutralized and destroyed by FSB specialists. They worked almost around the clock, the department noted.
