The air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry destroyed two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) flying to Moscow. This was announced on May 26 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed two drones flying to Moscow," he said in his Telegram channel.
He clarified that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.
On May 25, Sobyanin announced the destruction of two Ukrainian Armed Forces drones flying towards the capital. On the same day, the mayor of the capital announced the elimination of another UAV on the approach to Moscow.
