Specialists are repairing a North Korean military vessel that was damaged during launching at a shipyard in Chongjin. This was reported on May 26 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"At the scene of the accident that occurred during the launching of the destroyer, under the technical guidance of a team of specialists, work is actively underway on schedule to restore the balance of the destroyer," the agency's material says.

It is specified that the investigation of the accident is ongoing. The arrest of the deputy head of the defense industry department of the Central Committee of the party, Lee Hyun Son, was recalled.
