Two employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) were killed in a strike on their home in the southern Gaza Strip. This was reported on May 25 in the press service of the organization.

"We are deeply saddened by the death of two of our dear colleagues, Ibrahim Eid and Ahmad Abu Hilal, who were killed in a strike on their home in Khan Yunis on May 24. <...> We express our deepest condolences to their families, friends and colleagues," a message on the social network X (formerly Twitter) said.

The Red Cross again called for a ceasefire, respect and protection of the civilian population, including medical staff, humanitarian aid workers and civil defense personnel.

Al Jazeera TV channel reported on May 25 that at least 10 children were killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip in two days. In addition, a four-year-old boy also died due to starvation.
