In seven hours, the Air defense forces destroyed 51 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of the Russian Federation

The Air Defense Forces destroyed 51 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in seven hours over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"On May 25, from 13:00 to 20:00 Moscow time, 51 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said.

It is noted that 23 drones were shot down over the territory of the Kursk region, 12 over the territory of the Orel region, 11 over the territory of the Tula region, and six over the territory of the Moscow region.

In addition, one drone was eliminated over the Kaluga region.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

On the night of May 25, the air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 110 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
