A teenager stabbed a 12-year-old classmate in the Sverdlovsk region

In the Sverdlovsk region, law enforcement agencies have opened a criminal case into the fact that a teenager injured a 12-year-old classmate. On May 25, the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region was informed about this.

"It was reported on social media that in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk region, a child stabbed a classmate during a conflict. The victim was hospitalized," the department's Telegram channel says.

A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health"). The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed the head of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region, Bogdan Francishko, to report on the progress of the investigation into the incident.

The relationship with the victim was recognized as a mitigating circumstance.

Earlier, on March 20, it was reported that in the Moscow region, a schoolboy stabbed a classmate as a result of the conflict. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with paragraph "h" of Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
