Ten participants of the action "Evening of letters from Political Prisoners", which was organized by the Yabloko party, were detained on suspicion of justifying terrorism in Yekaterinburg. A source from Izvestia informed about this on May 25.

"Ten participants of the action "Evening of letters from political prisoners" were detained. Two of them are minors," the source said.

According to preliminary information, members of the Sverdlovsk branch of the Yabloko party held an event for young people called "Evening of Letters from Political Prisoners." They were taught to write messages to terrorists and extremists on it.

During the meeting, the suspects called the terrorists political prisoners, thereby justifying their criminal activities. It is specified that the activists were taken to the police department, where they are also being questioned.

On May 25, a resident of the Kherson region was detained on suspicion of publicly justifying terrorism and actions against Russia's security. A criminal case was opened against him in accordance with Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism").
