WAFA reported 52 deaths as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
At least 52 civilians have been killed in attacks by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the territory of the Gaza Strip over the past day. This was reported by the WAFA news agency on the evening of May 24.
"The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since Saturday morning has risen to 52 following a series of Israeli airstrikes," the statement said.
It is noted that the strikes were aimed at residential areas, commercial facilities and public places of the Palestinian enclave.
The Al-Awda hospital in northern Gaza was also hit. According to the agency, this poses a serious threat to the patients and medical staff there, as well as exacerbates the already difficult humanitarian situation.
Al Jazeera TV channel reported on the same day that last Friday, May 23, at least 76 people were killed as a result of IDF strikes on Gaza. It was noted that the strike hit a residential building in the city of Jabalia.
