The Russian Defense Ministry's air defense systems repelled an attack by two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying towards Moscow. This was announced on May 24 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"The Defense Ministry's air defense repelled an attack by two enemy UAVs flying towards Moscow," a message on his Telegram channel said.
He clarified that specialists from the emergency services are working at the site of the fall of debris from Ukrainian drones.
On May 23, Sobyanin announced the destruction of three drones heading towards Moscow with the help of air defense systems. According to the mayor of the city, special services officers carried out work at the crash site of the UAV.
