The national teams of the USA and Switzerland beat their opponents and reached the final of the World Hockey Championship. The meetings were held on May 24 in Stockholm.

The American team played against the Swedish national team. The match ended with a score of 6:2 in favor of the tournament guests. Defenders Brady Shay (7th minute) and Jackson Lacombe (52nd) scored for the winners, as well as forwards Cutter Gauthier (18th), Conor Garland (32nd), Michael Eissimont (38th) and Shane Pinto (56th). Forwards William Nylander (47) and Elias Lindholm (48) scored for Sweden.

The Swiss national team met with the Danish team. The game ended with a score of 7-0. Forwards Nino Niederreiter (10th and 18th minutes), Ken Jaeger (13th), Denis Malgin (38th), Sandro Schmid (45th), Damien Riath (53rd) and Tyler Mou (54th) scored goals in the match.

Teams from the USA and Switzerland will play in the final match of the tournament on May 25. On the same day, Sweden and Denmark will meet, who will compete for the third place of the World Cup.

In the quarterfinals of the Hockey World Championship match, which took place on May 22 in Herning, the Danish national team beat the Canadian national team 2-1. Nikolay Ehlers (58th minute) and Nick Olesen (60th minute) scored for the winners. Travis Sanheim scored the goal for the visiting team (46).
